Daydream a little bit. Set time aside for prayer. With quiet time you will be able to listen to God easier. You will refresh your spirit and energy if you take a little bit of time to just do nothing but think and pray.

Week # 4 To A Simpler Life

CHOOSE UPLIFTING ENTERTAINMENT

Make different entertainment choices that will uplift your spirit and encourage you to be a better person. Your choices color your mood and will affect your attitude. Inspiring entertainment makes you feel better about life.

Look for television programs that will not only entertain you ,but will also inform you. Do not choose violent movies to watch. Better yet do not even watch television, create your own entertainment. Go to the park, ride a bike, read a good book, meet with friends, etc etc etc.

#3 - LESS CAN BE MORE

REMEMBER THAT LESS CAN BE MORE.

Look at what you own and do and ask yourself if it is essential to your life and does it enhance your life. Having less of what you do not want frees you up to having the things that you do want. Clear the clutter from your house, mind, and calendar. Free up time to plan. Create more space in your surroundings by clearing out what no longer serves you.
